When I get notifications about new followers I check out their posts to see how many interests we share. If they write about nothing but tech, I don't follow back because I'm not that interested. I will not follow to be followed.

I wish that Medium would notify us of comments on our stories. I don't check mine often enough. I hate it when I find out that someone commented on one of my posts a month earlier than I found out about it. I don't want people thinking that I don't appreciate them taking the time to read and comment on my posts. Medium is evolving. Maybe they will fix that. :)
