The bible is clear on the expectation that pastors are held to a higher standard. This pastor needs to be called out and I would find another church if the people in charge don't address the situation. Sadly, there are many churches out there that have lost thier way. They are more worried about butts in the pews and money in the coffers. Find a church that you feel good in. We are full-time RVer's now and have visited many fantastic churches in our travels. When you enter a Holy Ghost filled church you can feel it. You want to be in one that is making an impact on the world for Christ. Don't let a bad experience keep you from finding a good one. There are many wonderful churches out there. God bless you. I'm praying that you find a great church that will nurture you and help you to grow in a deep and intimate relationship with Jesus.
