Thanks for sharing your experience. I recently started the 16/8 intermittent fasting program. After a seven-month cross-country road trip in a motorhome with my husband, I chunked up. I didn’t like my body or the way I felt and I’m hoping that this will be the answer for taking off the extra Lb’s. I’m a breakfast eater so I eat between 9:30 and 5:30. I’ve eliminated carbs when I do eat. I’ve tried doing 48-hour fasts and they are sheer torture. I got weak and dizzy which made exercising during the fast too hard. I like your idea of adding broth. I saw that some people ripped into you for it. Ignore the extremists. You need to do what works best for you. I’m excited to see how this new routine works for me. So far I feel fabulous. Right now I am at a retreat and don’t have to worry about feeding my husband. It’s going to be a much bigger challenge when I get home.
