So beautifully said, Debbie. Since renewing my relationship with Christ over 22 years ago, I have become much more aware of the people around me. I've been more of an encourager. I never appreciated accessibility for the disabled until I broke my ankle when I was 58. We had our first cross-country trip planned before it happened. I saw Niagara Falls and Yellowstone while using a knee scooter. I'm glad to say that the facilities available to the disabled and the kindness of people I witnessed through those experiences were terrific. My husband and I always offer a helping hand and thank a veteran for their service. As the bible tells us, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I'm praying for our country to get back to its Judeo-Christian roots and start respecting and treating each other better. 🙏🙏
