Wouldn’t it Be Great if Comradery Could Cure an Aching Body?

It doesn’t, so I’ll have to resort to taking some aspirin.

Our leaders, Paul and Janis, have an ice skating rink outside of their rig. ⛸️ They have to let water run outside so their pipes don’t freeze.

After enjoying three days of recovery, I felt pretty good at the end of yesterday’s work day. I finished writing a challenge post, and it was published by the Illumination Pub. We joined the team for our social hour at 5:00, including eating some tasty chili and playing the card game Pyramid. We all enjoyed ourselves, but after playing for third place, we opted to call it a night. All of our senior bods were tired. 🥱

Today, Paddy woke me up at 3:30 a.m. and refused to let me go back to sleep. 🙄😡👊 He was a snuggle buddy yesterday morning when it was 36 degrees in the motorhome because the basement heater didn’t kick on without the diesel heater engaged. Our small space heaters can’t keep up with these insane cold temperatures. 🥶

Our motorhome doesn’t use propane. Everything is electric in our rig, and the aqua hot heating system doesn’t work well when temperatures dip below freezing without a diesel kick.

Thankfully, Tommy engaged the diesel system before going to bed last night, so it was a toasty 64 degrees in the RV when I dragged myself out of bed at 4:00. It was 16 degrees outside. After listening…
