The Amazing Beloved Gallery Tour

We don’t just work together; we play, too.

Our tour arranger, Kathy, assured us that the art gallery she was taking us to was spectacular, and it did not disappoint.

Tommy’s back was hurting, and he would never find an art gallery amazing, so he stayed at the camp. It’s just not his thing. I had no idea we would see the famed Akiane, a child prodigy’s work. I remember hearing about her Prince of Peace painting and seeing the young girl on the Oprah Winfrey show.

Her story is unique, and her talent knows no bounds. She did not come from a religious background. Her mother was agnostic, and her father was an atheist. She was taken to heaven and had a visitation with Jesus. She painted the picture of Christ when she was only eight years old. The Prince of Peace is just one of her amazing paintings, but it’s the one that led to her recognition as a prodigy and opened the door to her fantastic life as a painter and poet.

The museum is free to visit, but they don’t allow any photographs to be taken there. I was dying to take a picture to share. The poems Akiane wrote at such a young age are excellent, too. She clearly has a God-given talent. She is…
