My Mouth Wrote a Check My Butt Can’t Cash!
I spoke too soon about the ease of writing 250 words and getting in 10,000 steps daily while on assignment.
There are nice places to walk, and there will be plenty to write about. However, I’ll need more energy to do both. The first short workday kicked my butt. Scrubbing down walls and baseboards in preparation for painting took it out of me today. Sadly, that physical labor left me 5,000 steps short, and I lack the strength to go for a walk.
I’m writing this while sitting in my recliner, pondering a nap. I fought with the idea of putting off writing my post until I rested a bit, but I know how that will go.
I’m thoroughly enjoying this fabulous group of dedicated Christians. The church was great yesterday. The pastor shared the Sermon on the Mount from memory. I have trouble memorizing a verse, and this man recited three and a half chapters of Matthew right off the top of his head. I was following along on my Bible app on my phone. I looked up to see what version of the Bible he was reading from, but there were no words on the massive TV screens, and he didn’t have any reading…
