One of the proudest moments in my life is when I held my punblished memoir in my hands. It took me seven years to complete it. My editor slashed 70,000 words. It was a much better read when she was finished helping me. I'd heard the phrase "kill your darlings" at many writing conferences, but now I really understood it.I need to get to work and finish another book. Keep up the good work Janet. :)
