My fellow employees threw a surprise baby shower for me at work, but it was a good one. It was my last day of work, because my pregnant self would no longer fit into the required uniform. I was so taken back that I asked, "Who are we surprising?" My surprise didn't bring any bad feelings. I'm sorry that yours was torture. Thanks for sharing.
