I’ve had my WordPress site for years. It was vital for me to have one when I was writing and promoting my memoir. I also blogged on my historic biker bars site, which was also on WordPress.
At one time, I thought I wanted to be a coach for codependency, and I geared my site towards that. When I sold my bar and grill in April of 2018 and decided to REALLY retire, being a coach was no longer of interest to me. As always, I had to pay someone to rework my site. I’d finally mastered writing posts on WP when they changed things that got harder to do.
Once I started writing on Medium and learning from incredible teachers like Kristina God about making my posts stand out, I didn’t care to write in WordPress anymore. Medium is SO much easier to work in. I stopped paying for Elegant Themes for WP, and now I can’t do anything on my site. I hate to give up catyson.com because I plan on writing more books one day. It’s my name and my brand. I’m torn about what to do and would appreciate any advice. Right now, my site is just sitting there with no new posts. If I could write a post on Medium and drop it into my WordPress site, I would be so happy.
