I started writing on Medium when blogging guru Jon Morrow suggested it. I found it so much easier than writing a post on my WordPress site that I stopped writing on my website. If I could copy and paste my Medium posts into my WP site, I would. Sadly, it's not that easy. I'm glad to hear from someone who sees the value of Medium. As you say, too many people rip on it. I agree with you that if they are unhappy with the platform they should walk away instead of bemoaning the platform.
