I got linked up with a narcissist for about a year when I was 18. I don't know how long I would have tolerated him because he left me for another woman. Looking back, I'm disgusted that I put up with such lousy treatment. I picked jerks until I got some therapy. I'm happily married to a wonderful man who is not a narcissist. We've been together for almost 35 years. We can learn from our mistakes. 😊
