Honoring International Religious Freedom Day: Remembering America’s Foundation of Liberty

Today is International Religious Freedom Day, and we celebrate one of humanity’s most precious gifts — freedom. This day honors the privilege and the responsibility of living in a nation built on liberty. It reminds us of the countless sacrifices made by those who fought for our freedoms and of the ongoing journey toward a more just society.

America’s foundation is built on the fierce ideal of freedom. From the fiery words of the Declaration of Independence to the enduring strength of the Constitution, our founders dared dream of a nation where everyone could chase life, liberty, and happiness.

These documents weren’t just polite suggestions — they were bold declarations that set hearts ablaze to break their chains of oppression. America’s history shows a relentless drive to uphold these ideals, and though the journey’s been rocky, the fire of freedom still burns strong.

Freedom in America has been deteriorating. The right to speak openly and express our beliefs freely is a thing of the past.
