As the Motorhome Turns series — closing story, for now.

We’ve Finally Escaped the Lazy Days Service Department!

I will call this the final post on the subject, but that can easily change. Let’s hope it doesn’t.

I went to the trouble of fixing up Paddy’s playhouse, but he didn’t want to go outside. That was a first. I was so far away from our rig to have a little shade from the lone mini palm tree. I think he may have wanted to be closer.

Halleluiah, and thank you, Jesus! We finally escaped the Lazy Day’s Service Center. We were starting to think we’d spend the winter there. All of our repairs have been made, and we are ready for our next adventure.

The motorhome repairs experience was trying, but lots of good came out of the bad. The timing of the refrigerator and washer breaking was very inconvenient. Being in travel mode when our major appliances stopped functioning added a lot of headaches. As I’ve mentioned in the previous posts, getting an appointment at a dealership for repairs at the last minute is downright impossible.

We returned to the Lazy Days Service Center to replace the motors in our nightshades and replace the macerating toilet system with a streamlined one that allows you to empty your black tanks completely. The
