God bless you, Rosie!! You are so fortunate to have figured out the damage you were inflicting on yourself and those that care for you at such a young age. I married an alcoholic and I bought a bar. When things went south I did the, "Why, God why?" thing. He spoke into my heart and I realized my culpability in the miserable place I found myself in. I made changes in myself. I addressed my codependency issues and God eventually saved our marriage and my husbands life. He was truly drinking himself to death. I'm happy for you and SO proud of you. Thanks for sharing this story. If Medium continues with the censorship BS that Facebook and other Liberal run sites do it will be the death of another loved media site. We the people are pretty fed up with these asinine policies. I know many people that took the jab and are experiencing medical issues they never had before. Censoring TRUTH is wrong! The slant towards censoring anyone that doesn't agree with what the current administration wants us to buy into is sickening! 🤮

I'm going to have to mull your question over and get back to you. I can say for sure that I will not get married again. My husband is my one and only. I'm his third time's a charm girl. I told him a long time ago that I might be a widow but I'll never be a divorcee. I almost had to eat those words, but God intervened. It's the story I share in my memoir. It's too bad you're too busy to read because I think you'd enjoy it. 😊

Beautiful! When are you writing your memior? Don't put it off Nancy. It took me 7 years to write and self-publish mine. There is nothing like having someone tell you how your book changed thier life for the better. I'd do mine in chunks if I had your nomad upbringing. My editor cut 70,000 words from my memoir and it was better for it. What I have failed to do is use those cuts for another book. Thanks for sharing your story. :)
